Courtney's Transformation Feature!

Say hello to Courtney and her incredible transformation story! She has been participating in CSE Challenges since 2016, but the first one she finished was this last Summer Challenge! Her motto was "I want to see what happens if I don't give up!" and that's exactly what she did (and continues to do)! Read on to see how keeping a promise to herself, combined with 100 burpees a day, taught her a really valuable lesson.

Thanks for sharing your transformation story with us, Courtney! You are an inspiration!

I have done at least 10 of these challenges and I love them...but I’ve never completed ONE. I don’t have a problem starting, in fact I love to start. I take my “before pics”, buy the groceries, prep the food, maybe get a new pair of workout pants, and make my workout schedule. I start strong and I have really good intentions, but then I begin to taper off around week 3. I get discouraged, distracted or just burned out. At the beginning of this challenge I hung a sign in my garage with a quote from the workout portion of the book...”I want to see what happens if I don’t give up!” I read it everyday, multiple times a day AND I finally did it! I finished! I stopped lying to myself and breaking promises to myself and I started showing up for me!!! I have always put my family’s needs ahead of mine, because I thought that’s what a good mom does. But I’m learning that taking care of myself is what a good mom does! I used the workouts from the books for half of my week, did High fit twice a week and started lifting weights the last couple of weeks. I’ve also been doing 100 burpees/day! (It’s awful in case you were wondering!)

Thank you JJ and Erika for devoting your time and energy to this program and these challenges! I am so motivated to keep moving and can’t wait to see how far I’ll go!! ??
