Hi, I’m Cayley! I’m a wife to a farmer and mom of two young boys, who keep me busy-busy-busy! I have tried staying consistent in the gym in the past, but our ever-changing schedules make it difficult to stay on course. I wasn’t tracking my food intake, and I did not know how to properly fuel my body or even understand the importance of it.
Throughout this challenge, my eyes have been opened to see just how much FOOD impacts my body. The amount of time I spent in the gym would never have been able to compensate for my diet. Halfway throughout the challenge, I rolled my ankle and had to take a step back from high-intensity workouts. The Clean Simple Eats recipes helped me stay on track and continue toward my goal, even though I was only doing low-intensity excercises. Food is fuel, absolutely… but with the help of CSE, healthy eating is also enjoyable!
Each season we host a free 7-week, community-based health and fitness challenge. We work hard, get our sweat on, and work together to motivate each other to reach our goals.
