As far as my story goes, I started this weight loss journey about a year ago because I was tired of wasting time in the gym and not making any real progress. Once I accepted the fact that I was going to have to be more diligent with tracking my food, I got to work. I also wanted to have more energy for my kids, and to work more, so I could provide more money for my family. Houses don't buy themselves, ha!
I started at 171lbs a year ago, and I am now down to 144 at the end of this challenge. Although I had not done another challenge throughout my weightloss journey, I wanted a little more motivation and accountability at the end of this cut to hit my goal of 141 (10% BF) before starting a bulking phase.Â
I am grateful for how CSE has helped me throughout my life and specifically through this journey. I hope to be a part of many more challenges to help motivate myself and others.
Each season we host a free 7-week, community-based health and fitness challenge. We work hard, get our sweat on, and work together to motivate each other to reach our goals.
