I don’t know how to pick a favorite CSE recipe book, but this one got me started! So many favorite dinner go to’s that compliment the season! The hard copy is beautifully printed and organized, and I love having it in addition to the app for quick reference and substitute information!
Clean simple eats takes the work out of tracking your macros. All the meals are built equally, so it is so easy to use for beginners. My husband has already lost about 25 lbs and I am down 10. It really does work, and you feel amazing eating clean, tasty food. I am so grateful I found CSE. Total health and lifestyle game changer!
I have 4 books, winter, spring, summer and fall. Honestly the quality of the books is fantastic, which is why I have 4. There are three reasons why I only gave a 5 star rating. For me these books are hard to use. In the weekly grocery lists there is no mention of the recipe(s) the items are to be used in, you literally have to look up the weeks recipes individually and see what is in them and compare it to the shopping list to determine if you need to make any substitutions (or if you're even planning to make the meal that week at all). Means a lot of flipping pages back and forth to figure it all out and when you're looking for something to simplify meal planning and prep these books fall short. I also find many of the recipes are too similar, and I personally am not a huge chicken fan. Too many of the recipes are chicken based. Lastly, price. A bit on the expensive side. Just my humble opinion.
I love all the meal prepping/cooking books, the recipes are easy and food taste amazing, they are thoughtfully prepared so when used with APP and calorie / macro management work perfectly
Love the meals! It is nice to just have a plan of what we are eating and it is new and different. My children are eating more veggies and trying foods they normally wouldn’t eat.
