I have gotten more people hooked and buying CSE products from a couple of the must have recipes (almond joy shake Im talking about you!). These recipes are so yummy and I love the comfort food recipes in this one.
We love this! Recent had a gallbladder removal and this has made life so much easier with the new diet!
I have only tried recipes from My daughters books and they are great! I'm from Canada and the $40 US to send them here is a bit much so I'll pick them up when I'm back at her home in the US as it was free shipping or she will send them if it's a better price.
Firstly, I am not someone who follows meal plans well. I always felt most meal plans leave you feeling sluggish, hungry, and grumpy. So, I was very surprised when I tried the sample week. I was hooked. I have really enjoyed every recipe. Some I thought initially that I wouldn’t enjoy, but forced myself to try it anyway and loved them. It started with just me, I never dreamed my two little boys, who are incredibly picky eaters would want what was on moms plate. Even my husband who is also a very picky eater would sneak my meal prep to work for his lunch. (Family favorite is the broccoli bacon penne). Since quarantine, and the empty shelves crisis, I have been overwhelmingly grateful. It’s given me great peace of mind to know that we have enough food for my family. It’s really been helpful, to have the meals planned an portioned. Also, having things pre-portioned was easier to handle than I initially thought. I’ve never been a calorie counter. I started middle of January, I’ve lost 8 lbs and never feel deprived. The first month was hard for me not to sneak my favorite go-to snacks, but I stuck with it and allowed some give (within calorie limit) and that helped at the start. I actually prefer these meals and snacks to anything else. When we went on vacation, I found myself really missing these recipes. *buffalo chicken sandwich is drool worthy *pb halo top milkshake has my kids doing chores to convince me to make one *the stir fry has my mushroom hating husband, stealing my meal plan for work. (That and the almond chicken tenders). *burgers
