Personal fitness has always been important to me, but I have never set or achieved goals. Most of my adult life, I’ve been average fitness level; telling people, “I only workout so I can eat garbage food.” In reality, I just didn’t understand how important nutrition is to a healthy lifestyle.
This year, I feel like I’ve unlocked it! Yummy food doesn’t have to be bad for you, and it’s ok to have some balance and indulge in some treats every once in a while. These challenges have been a great way to set goals–which has helped me pay more attention to the mental wellness and nutritional fitness aspects of my life.
