BTC Winner: Patricia's Story
"I really feel like I now know what I'm doing with my health and fitness–a total 180 from where I was just a couple years ago."
My Clean Simple Eats journey started January of 2021 with my first challenge; fast forward to Spring 2023, and I am still living the Clean Simple Eats lifestyle shift. This challenge was much harder for me because halfway through I had a longboarding accident and I tore my hamstring. This was devastating for me because I have grown to love the gym and look forward to my workouts and this was a huge mental setback. This is where Clean Simple Eats came in.
I am so thankful for the knowledge I have gained over the years. Everyone is faced with trials and adversity. The main question is whether to just give up or keep moving forward. I'm so glad that I have kept moving forward over the years. During this trial, I ate clean and prepped the meals and knew without a doubt that I would not suffer a huge setback, despite not getting my regular workouts in.
Clean Simple Eats is not a fad diet; it is a mind and lifestyle shift. I am happily maintaining and continuing to get stronger living this lifestyle. The community is so amazing, and I am so thankful to be a part of such an uplifting group of people. My workouts are very consistent on a normal basis. I am at the gym five days a week doing a mix of cardio and strength training. My main goal is to maintain what I have worked for and continue to eat a balanced macro diet.
Clean Simple Eats is a lifestyle; I am living proof if you put in the consistency and the time, you will have success. I am thankful for an amazing program that has had such a positive impact on my life and completely transformed my physical and mental outlooks on my fitness journey.
Each season we host a free 7-week, community-based health and fitness challenge. We work hard, get our sweat on, and work together to motivate each other to reach our goals.
