I am not new to the Clean Simple Eats world. I have been around a while, which I think says a whole lot about this company and these products. I incorporate CSE recipes into my everyday life, challenge or not. But what I love about the challenge is the people! It’s so inspiring to see people making healthier choices and sharing their ideas, workouts, etc.
I was excited and motivated to do the Fall Challenge, with the hopes of getting out of my snacking on not-so-great options and focusing on gaining muscle! I realized that being active/fit is not the same as being strong. So, I upped my calories/protein and increased the number of times I was weight lifting. That’s one of the things I love about CSE - it can help you with a variety of goals!
My first real challenge was summer of 2020, with the goal of losing my “baby weight.” I not only achieved my goals, but gained so many healthy habits that have stuck with me all these years. This challenge reminded how important macro counting is, and how helpful it is when wanting to reach a certain protein goal.
Thank you Clean Simple Eats for making yummy, healthy food possible for busy people like me–mother of three, Air Force wife, labor and delivery nurse, group fitness instructor…. whew! I sure need the best my body can give - and that starts with healthy habits. See you for the CSE Winter Challenge! 😜
