You can use the menu planners and grocery lists as we suggest, or you can simply use this book as a cookbook and work through it at your own pace picking and choosing the recipes that look the best to you. Every dinner makes 4 servings as well as some of the breakfasts. Most snacks and other breakfasts are made to serve one.

The recipes are fantastic! Family loves them. I love having a full meal proportioned and macroed out. Changes I would love to see are 1. Be more specific in your ingredients so it is clear what your macro numbers are based on. For example ground beef or lean turkey... what percent fat is being used. 80/20, 93/7, 99/1, etc. Same when it comes to bread/tortilla ingredients. Size, brand, and or macros for the one being used to calculate your macros would be helpful. 2. Show macros split between dishes within a meal. This is done on some of the muffin with egg meals and I LOVE it. Wish it were there for other meals that have multiple components making up the meal.
I have done weight watchers, Noom, and just plain old calorie counting, and (while all the other stuff worked somewhat) I have never found something that didn’t leave me feeling deprived...until Clean Simple Eats. My husband (who is a picky eater) scrapes out the remains of my smoothies and sneaks bites of my snacks frequently!
Very pleased with this cookbook! I’ve made a handful of the recipes and haven’t been disappointed. I love now they’re already in My Fitness Pal too! Makes tracking calories and macros that much easier.
This book is AMAZING as well. I love all things pumpkin and soup in the fall and this book did not fall short in that department. Our favorite meal from this book is the Cheddar Ranch Chicken and Potatoes! Hmmm sooo good!
The Fall plan is full of yummy recipes. Lots of soup! Also a ton of pumpkin recipes if that is your go-to fall flavor.
