OUR EXPERIENCE WITH COLLAGEN
“I love experimenting with my own body to see what works, what doesn’t and how I can improve. Here’s what I learned from my latest “self-experimentation.” I wanted to see what effect going off all supplements had on my bloodwork over the course of 6 weeks. I was especially interested in the kidney function markers in my blood like creatinine and BUN. For 6 weeks, I didn’t consume even a single serving of protein powder, including our collagen powder.
My results after 6 weeks... my bloodwork got worse! In order to fill the gaps in protein (normally filled by our CSE Protein Powders), I had to turn to other sources. Suffice it to say that my kidneys didn’t love all of the other sources and had a harder time breaking these sources down into usable amino acids.

This is my first time using collagen, so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I love that I can mix it in with anything and doesn’t get lumpy and it just makes whatever I’m drinking creamier!
